This policy covers the FlourishBx website only. The FlourishBx dashboard and caregiver app handle health information and are governed by a separate privacy notice provided when you create an account.
Who we are
This website is operated by FlourishBx LLC ("FlourishBx," "we," "us," or "our"), a limited liability company organized in North Carolina, United States.
FlourishBx builds software for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy providers and the families they serve. We are a software company. We do not provide therapy, medical care, or clinical advice.
What we collect
Information you give us
We collect personal information only when you choose to give it to us through one of two forms on this site:
- Early access waitlist — your name, your email address, and whether you identify yourself as a BCBA or a caregiver.
- Contact form — your name, your email address, a subject line, and whatever you write in your message.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider records standard server logs, which may include your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and the date and time of your request. These logs are used to operate and secure the site.
What we do not do
As of the effective date above, this website:
- uses no advertising or analytics trackers — no Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no session-recording tools;
- sets no tracking or advertising cookies;
- does not sell or rent your personal information to anyone; and
- does not use your information to build advertising profiles.
If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy before we do so.
The one outside connection this site does make
This website loads its typeface from Google Fonts. Your browser fetches those font files directly from Google each time you load a page, which means Google receives your IP address, the page you are looking at, and standard browser information such as your browser version and language.
No cookie is set by this, and nothing is tracked. It is a request for two font files. We mention it because it is the only connection this site makes to anyone other than our hosting provider, and we would rather tell you than have you find it. We receive nothing back from Google, and we have no agreement with Google covering this traffic.
This applies to this website only. The BCBA Dashboard and the caregiver app make no outside requests at all — the Dashboard serves its fonts from its own server and blocks anything else at the browser level, and the app has its fonts built in. No page that shows a child's information ever contacts a third party. That was a deliberate decision and it is not changed by anything on this page.
One wrinkle worth being straight about: the Dashboard and app privacy policies are published as pages on this website, so reading one of them is using this site, and the paragraph above applies to the reading of it. It does not mean the product that policy describes behaves the same way.
If we ever serve these fonts ourselves, we will delete this section. If we add any other outside resource, we will update this policy before we do.
A note about health information
We want to be direct about this, because it matters.
We do not ask for, want, or knowingly collect any health information through this website. Please do not include a child's name, diagnosis, treatment details, or any other health information in the contact form or any message to us.
We recognize that choosing "Caregiver" on our waitlist form may suggest a connection to autism or ABA services. We treat that selection as sensitive. It is used only to send you relevant information about FlourishBx and to understand who is interested in the product. It is never sold, never shared for advertising, and never used to infer or record anything about a specific child.
The federal health privacy law known as HIPAA generally applies to healthcare providers, health plans, and their business associates. Information you submit through this marketing website is not protected health information under HIPAA, and this policy — not HIPAA — governs how we handle it. Health information you later enter into the FlourishBx application is governed by that product's separate agreements.
How we use it
We use the information you give us to:
- respond to your message or question;
- add you to our early access waitlist and tell you when FlourishBx becomes available;
- send you occasional updates about the product, if you have asked to hear from us;
- understand which audiences are interested in FlourishBx; and
- operate, secure, and improve this website.
Every marketing email we send includes a way to unsubscribe. You can opt out at any time and we will stop sending them.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the business, and only to the extent they need it to do that job. As of the effective date these are:
- Google LLC (Google Cloud Platform) — hosts this website and the FlourishBx service.
- Google LLC (Google Workspace) — delivers the email we send you, and receives the messages you send us through the forms on this site. Form submissions reach us as email; they are not kept in a separate database.
- Supabase, Inc. — holds data from the earlier version of the FlourishBx service, which is being retired. Nothing is sent there any more: it is listed because it still holds records, not because it receives any.
- Stripe, Inc. — processes subscription payments for clinicians. Stripe does not receive health information.
We may also disclose information if we are required to by law, or to protect our legal rights or the safety of others. If FlourishBx is ever acquired or merges with another company, personal information may transfer as part of that transaction; we will give notice here before that happens.
Where it is stored and how long we keep it
Information collected through this site is stored on servers located in the United States. It is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited to people who need it to operate the business.
We keep waitlist entries until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. We keep contact form messages for up to 24 months so we can follow up and keep a record of our correspondence.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you;
- correct information that is wrong;
- delete your information; or
- stop sending you email.
Email us at contact@getflourishbx.com and we will respond within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for exercising these choices.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or your state's consumer health data law. We honor the requests listed above for everyone, regardless of where you live.
Your browser may offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Because we do not track visitors across websites, there is nothing for that signal to turn off.
Children
This website is intended for adults — clinicians, clinic administrators, and parents or caregivers. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us at contact@getflourishbx.com and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy as the business changes. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If the change is significant, we will say so clearly rather than quietly editing the text.
